Submission Guidelines
Author Credits
We believe in giving credit where it’s due. Your name will appear as the recipe’s author. If you have a blog, YouTube channel, or social media page, we’re happy to include a link to promote your work alongside your recipe for added visibility.
Language & Format
Recipes must be submitted in clear, basic English. Each submission should include:
A brief description of the dish
The place of origin (e.g., Kerala, South India, etc.)
A complete list of ingredients and instructions
Image Requirements
Please upload at least one high-quality image of your dish.
Minimum image size: 650px wide x 400px tall
Images must clearly showcase the food — avoid watermarks, excessive filters, or distracting backgrounds.
Originality & Publishing Rights
All submitted recipes must be original and not currently published online elsewhere (including your own blog or social media).
Recipes previously published in print (e.g., cookbooks, magazines) are acceptable with proper citation.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any plagiarized content will be rejected.
By submitting your recipe, you grant Pungu’s Kitchen the non-exclusive rights to publish, edit, and display the recipe on our website and associated channels (e.g., social media).
Editing & Approval
We may make minor edits to your submission (grammar, formatting, clarity) to maintain consistency across the platform.
All recipes are subject to editorial review and approval prior to being published.
We reserve the right to decline any submission that does not meet our quality or content standards.
Ownership & Removal
You retain full ownership of your recipe.
Your name will always appear as the credited author.
If you would like your recipe to be removed from the platform in the future, simply contact us — we’ll take care of it promptly.
